By now all my followers here and peeps that came by to have a look would know that I am an avid reader. Thankfully I have passed this on to my two children.
Anyway, as there are so many interesting titles and genres available I found the best site to purchase my books to be the Book Depository.
I have no idea how many books my two babies and I have purchased over the years… I lost count. Nevertheless I have not ever had a drama. On one occasion I waited patiently for an edition but 5 weeks later I asked the question if it could be tracked as it may have been lost somewhere between the UK and Australia. A reply in less than 24 hours offered me a choice between a refund or a replacement, I chose the latter which eventually arrived. I wasn’t in a hurry as I didn’t plan it as a gift but rather for my own amusement.
This was the only time ever I had to get in contact until today that is….
In my latest order I included a Moleskine Booklight which would have been a fantastic tool for a late-night reader like me. However – after 24 hours charging it wouldn’t work. Silly me only now researched the item and it seems to be a common issue.

So – I wrote my problem into the “Contact Us” box and sent it off. Just over 3 hours later and I have already received the most polite apology and agreement that these lights possibly do not ship well. The kind Lucy than advised that the refund has already been issued as she cannot guarantee that a replacement item will work any better.
That my friends is service.
Well done Book Depository. I may have lost my booklight but I will not leave you in a hurry.
